Title and Summary
Senior Analyst GBSC Risk Management Overview:Assists with managing banking relationships
Process activities include oversight and controlling the accounting and business processes; ensure the accuracy and timely completion of all activities
Support bank administration and treasury processes.
Working in a global business services team with cross-functional exposure and experiences.
Responsible for increasing & protecting shareholder value.
Role:
Perform Accounting activities (e.g., sub-ledger accounting [SLA] and high level financial statements) in accordance with accounting principles and standards.
Well Conversant to RTR (Record to Report) process
Working on opening & closing bank accounts for mergers & acquisition entities plus core existing business.
Executes on established treasury policies and processes for Bank Administration
Assists with updates, standardization, and automation of bank administration processes.
Provides guidance to regional teams in matters related to bank administration.
Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles, financial statements and financial reporting requirements
Assists with ad hoc reporting and bank administration special requests.
Assist SOX and audit teams with bank administration audits and questions.
Coordinate effectively, timely, and accurately with cross-functional teams like treasury, tax, legal, and 3rd party banking institutions.
Ensure timely and effective resolution of customer issues and complaints
Analyse data and generate reports to provide insights into customer behaviour, trends, and opportunities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as sales, marketing, and operations, to optimize account management processes and drive efficiency.
Leverage on automation to improve and achieve efficiency goals.
All About You:
Demonstrated comprehensive knowledge of corporate finance is a must
A qualified Chartered Accountant/CAIIB/ Company Secretary/ Lawyer/ CA-Inter
Banking background/ knowledge of banking products, services, and regulations will be an added advantage.
Experience reviewing and analyzing work for appropriate accounting treatment
Robust understanding of MS Excel and financial/ERP systems, preferably direct experience with Oracle
Able to adjust to changing processes and systems – should be agile to adapt e.g. changing accounting system will change established work procedures
Progressive accounting experience preferably in a large, global environment Experience evaluating solutions to treasury performance issues.
Extensive experience supporting multiple bank applications and data mining.
Experience with mergers & acquisitions, including opening/closing bank accounts.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions.
Strong problem-solving and attention to detail
Controls & compliance focus balanced with a passion for enabling the business with efficiency.
