Manager, Strategic Product Enablement Our Purpose:

Overview:
The Global Portfolio Optimization (GPO) team leads an innovative and ongoing, data-driven process that empowers issuer customers with actionable insights and tailored solutions to increase cardholder engagement and boost card activation, usage, spend and other priority KPIs across customer portfolios. The team utilizes a programmatic approach to enable top prioritization and acceleration of efforts – enabling the Mastercard organization with the data, content, tools, and resources to deliver on portfolio optimization opportunities at scale. With the power of our data, advanced analytics, and always-on optimization model, we partner with customers to unlock new revenue opportunities and operational efficiencies that keep their business moving forward.

Role:
- Lead the governance of Portfolio Optimization (PO) for a particular region, serving as the key representative from GPO to partner with that region's PO champions across Core Payments, Services, Marketing, Sales, and other cross-functional teams to drive PO objectives and KPIs forward in the region
- Act as an expert, advocate, and champion for the GPO methodology, PO impact acceleration, regional PO needs, and a One Mastercard approach to solution enablement
- Help evolve and scale GPO sales enablement tools, assessing white spaces across new KPIs and use cases to enrich our issuer customer value story and position an increasingly tailored, effective, and holistic optimization opportunity and solution narrative
- Support custom content development and packaging for bespoke data and optimization opportunity analyses for strategic issuer customers globally
- Support expansion and execution of partnerships across the Core Payments organization (e.g., Global Credit, Debit Prepaid, Financial Inclusion Product teams, etc.) identifying synergies and developing and integrating content to empower optimization at all relevant internal and external touchpoints
- Build strong working relationships, coordinating and influencing across a diverse group of internal stakeholders to jointly drive optimization efforts and achieve shared PO goals
- Drive and support ad-hoc strategic and operational projects that span across the GPO team and play a key role in developing and rolling out new internal solutions and processes

All About You:
- Excellent project management skills: Highly organized and experienced in driving end-to-end execution of initiatives – particularly in a cross-functional environment, managing and prioritizing competing deliverables
- Great communication, presentation, and relationship management skills: Ability to develop impactful PowerPoint presentations, efficiently and effectively facilitate large meetings, and influence action with internal cross-geographical and cross-regional stakeholders
- Strong team player, collaborating across the GPO team to deliver unified experiences for our internal and external stakeholders that bring together expertise and contributions across all four-steps of the GPO programmatic approach
- Experience in sales enablement or customer-facing roles, demonstrating empathy to understand internal stakeholder and external customer pain points in order to curate solutions to meet stakeholder needs and deepen engagement
- Experience in developing and executing go-to-market strategies for solutions and tactics to optimize impact
- Entrepreneurial mindset, with ability to think creatively to solve problems, roll up your sleeves to execute in a fast-paced and agile environment, identify opportunities for continuous improvements – while considering longer term impact and scalability of processes
- Prior knowledge base of payments and Core Payment products and drivers such as card, tokenization, contactless, digital commerce approval rates, cross-border, lifecycle management, cardholder engagement campaigns
- Strong analytics skills and attention to detail, with proficiency and enjoyment in pulling and analyzing data from transaction reporting databases; Prior experience with Mastercard systems such as Enterprise Reporting, Quarterly Mastercard Report (QMR), Cubes a plus
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, requiring minimal day-to-day supervision, and comfortable with manager located remotely
