Title and Summary
Manager, Product Management – Security Solutions – AI Overview• Acts as a business owner and manages long-term and short-term strategic initiatives for commercialized products. Support the development and implementation of a regional product and GTM strategy for security solutions/ products that leverage the power of Artificial Intelligence
• Roles in this family oversee product evolution, establish go-to-market and launch strategy, optimize products and resources, implement incremental improvements within the product's life cycle, conduct ongoing care and maintenance, and manage P&L for security/fraud solutions in the Mastercard Network
Responsibilities
• Take a data-driven approach to product enhancements, identifying opportunity areas and contributing to the Product roadmap, prioritizing work to deliver against key areas of focus
• Understand Mastercard's business model and take key financial or commercial factors into consideration to positively influence revenue delivery and cost efficiency
• Leverage the Mastercard Studio framework to manage the delivery of ongoing innovation and enhancements to focus Products and AI network solutions
• Incorporate an understanding of the broader payments ecosystem and security requirements of the payments ecosystem into ongoing product management (e.g. regulatory, legal, technology, competitive, technology environment etc.)
• Conducting product demonstrations and presenting compelling product propositions with internal stakeholders and with external industry events for key stakeholders/audience
• Drive innovative product solutions and product development for security and fraud solutions to address customer needs, market trends, and competitive opportunities and deliver on the yearly revenue budget.
• Take accountability for the delivery of key product enhancements and product launch, partner/work with key stakeholders members to deliver and launch new security solutions
• Support the development and implementation of a regional product and GTM strategy for security solutions/ products powered by AI
• Participate in cross-functional teams (e.g. Product, Product Management- Business, Technical, CX&D) in the development of business requirements to achieve Product objectives. Adopt a pragmatic approach to security solutions, capable of articulating complex technical requirements in a manner this is simple and relevant to stakeholder use cases
• Ability to work cross-functionally, and across borders drawing on a broader team of colleagues to effectively execute the security solutions strategy
• Drive institutionalized knowledge through the use of consistent product documentation (e.g., support documents) across the Studio framework
• Lead by example with hands-on approaches to demonstrate product management excellence and share best practices
• Demonstrate and drive Mastercard Way behaviours through their behaviour, (e.g. customer and stakeholder interactions)
Experiences and what a candidate must have
• Experience of working in, and understanding of the payment's ecosystem and security/fraud requirements of the payments ecosystem into ongoing product management
• Creative thinker capable of linking AI solutions to identified business challenges, particularly in security and fraud. Ability to understand general system architecture and overarching functions along with interdependency elements, as well as anticipate challenges for immediate remediation utilizing security solutions.
• Experience of working on product launches in multiple markets is desirable
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as a team player in a highly matrixed environment across functions and regions
• Understands and can explain the business context and the associated customer use cases for security / fraud solutions
• Excellent Verbal and written communication
• Basic understanding of AI, and how it can be effectively leveraged in a fraud/ security solution strategy and execution will be a definite plus. Excellent strategic thinking and analysis skills and a proven track record of creating solutions that increase revenue
