Overview
Mastercard Security Solutions Organisation (SSO) is responsible for safeguarding trust in payments, both now and in future. The Identity solutions team in Europe is looking for an experienced Product Manager, Identity Verification to support the development of Mastercard's identity verification strategy in Europe & UKI, and drive adoption of identity verification products.
This is a unique opportunity to drive innovative identity verification solutions that will keep millions of people across Europe & UKI safe. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, analytical, and possesses an entrepreneurial mindset.
In this position, you will be responsible for:
• Market & Regulatory Analysis: closely follows and documents eIDAS 2.0
and DIATF developments, digital identity trends, and the competitive
landscape.
• Product Strategy & Vision: Support the development of building and
executing the regional identity verification product strategy .
• Roadmap Development: Partners with market-facing teams to gather
customer feedback in the region and support the development of product
roadmap as well as delivery of product features.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Be the intermediary between global product
development and local teams in Europe in product to shape a global
proposition to European needs.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with regulatory bodies, industry
consortia, and key partners to ensure compliance and foster adoption of
digital identity standards.
• Go-to-Market Execution: Define and support a go-to-market plan for
Account Protection Bundles in alignment with regional stakeholders
• Performance Tracking: Establish reporting of identity verification product
suit KPIs to regional and global teams and accountable for ensuring that
established sales revenue targets are met
• Identify and execute on new synergy and market growth opportunities
within existing Mastercard products & services (e.g.: C2P, BNPL, Digital
First…).
Qualification and experience |
• Proven experience as a Product Manager in digital identity, cybersecurity,
authentication, or regulatory technology.
• Strong understanding of eIDAS 2.0, DIATF, electronic identity wallets,
qualified signatures and digital trust service.
• Experience in managing product roadmaps, from concept to launch.
• Familiarity with identity verification standards (e.g. biometrics, document
checks, knowledge-based authentication, two-factor authentication)
• Ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into actionable
product features.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Experience working in an agile development environment
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., ideally Computer
Science, Business, Cybersecurity)
