Manager, US Mid-Market Product, Go to Market

Overview:
We are looking for a seasoned product manager within the US Mid-Market Product Management team to play a key role in the commercialization/go-to-market execution for its products. The team's goal is to ensure the long-term competitiveness of our products, for existing and new use cases; addressing unmet needs in the market; and to grow revenue by delivering more value to our customers. The ideal candidate will be passionate about driving product growth, highly motivated, analytical, with a commercial mindset. This person will be part of a team of product managers and drive key activities including execution of the go-to-market strategy.

Role
• Act as an expert, advocate, and champion for mid-market program products
• Play a key role in rolling out new solutions
• Analyze customer needs, anticipate future market trends, conduct competitive analysis and connect dots with Mastercard priorities
• Coordinate across cross-functional teams for product sales, usage, and continuous product enhancement
• Build strong working relationships with a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders to achieve product goals
• Engage with customers to capture the client feedback and identify opportunities for continuous product improvement.
• Engage with our internal account, product sales, Global product & engineering teams to advance execution of the strategy
• Identify opportunities to grow revenue and gain market share
• Accountable for measuring and optimizing the product usage KPIs
• Identify product gaps and help make build | partner | buy decisions to help support successful execution of the strategy
• Serve as a subject matter expert on the products, offering support to internal and external customers with communication and training on product features and enhancements
• Leverage working knowledge of Mastercard business, systems, products and customer requirements in making fact-based business and product decisions
• Manage and own business case for the region

All About You
• Passionate about payments innovation; Strong understanding of the B2B payments landscape and ecosystem; industry knowledge/experience.
• Experienced in customer-facing roles – driving critical business discussions, deepening engagement, and demonstrating empathy to understand customer pain points.
• Demonstrate strong product commercialization experience showcasing excellent business acumen
• Role requires agility and a sense of urgency as well as strategic, results-driven, innovative and long-term thinking.
• Experienced in driving end to end execution of initiatives – particularly in a cross-functional environment, managing and prioritizing competing initiatives.
• Strong problem-solving skills with an ability to identify key issues/tradeoffs, structure analysis, and provide recommendations effectively
• Strong presentation skills, and assists with creating presentations, proposals and internal business case development
• Strong communication & influencing skills to work with internal and external stakeholders, with ability to clearly articulate problem statements and opportunity areas.
• Participates in project and team meetings, business forecasting and strategic planning activities
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and with minimal day-to-day supervision.

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
