Manager, Product Experience Design Manager, Product Experience Design

Mastercard's platform of payment services, Click to Pay, is looking for a senior designer to join us on a contract basis. We are an agile design team that works across the entire product ecosystem to make complex B2B2C processes seem simple and consumer-friendly.

Responsibilities:

This role is focused on the self-service onboarding and registration experience for Mastercard's customers and internal admins.

• Work closely with Product to understand end user and business needs
• In this Product Experience Designer role, you will create designs and prototypes using industry tools such as Figma, and work on ideation for different e-commerce website and mobile app checkout implementations.
• Understand end user and business needs to define interaction models and workflows and determine optimal UX solutions based on user feedback, business goals, and constraints
• Lead design reviews with product and dev partners to articulate how your design decisions support product requirements and an optimal end user experience
• Shape the overall direction of the product experience design, identifying challenges and adapting as needed based on the context of the business and user needs.
• Apply an existing design system to the customer and admin-facing portal environments and collaborate with our dev team to align on design deliverables for development
• Participate in design team critiques and reviews, offering and providing feedback to ensure we're delivering great product experiences

You have:

At Mastercard Design, our designers take an active role in defining what is offered in our products and negotiate across the relevant stakeholder teams for what we believe is the best experience.

• You have experience in the UX field with experience in interaction design and visual design. You have the ability to implement strategic and conceptual thinking as well.
• Ability to work from an existing visual style guide and design system is preferred. Experience with or interest in research is a plus.
• Ability to facilitate design reviews with product partners and customers (clients).
• Experience in creating high fidelity designs and annotations, storyboards, user flows, customer journeys, site maps, etc.
• Very strong organization, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong skills using collaborative design software such as Figma. Knowledge of Wevo is a plus.
• Payments or complex transactional product design experience preferred.
• Interest in working with a content design partner is a plus.
• Large corporate experience is a plus.
