Title and Summary

Manager, Product Commercialization Overview:
Security Solutions (SSO) is focused on making Mastercard the safest, simplest, and smartest way to pay. SSO is responsible for the creation and management of security products that help to secure our ecosystem by identifying and mitigating threats from within the Cybersecurity vertical, the Experience & Disputes vertical, the Fraud and Decisioning vertical, the Identity vertical, operational, and non-compliance risk — all while ensuring a positive consumer experience. Within this group, the Product Commercialization team guides and enables effective execution of the product development and go-to-market strategies for more than 110 products. Leveraging the Mastercard-prescribed Studio process, this team specifically tailors commercialization guidance for every product initiative, ensuring appropriate delivery of all commercialization requirements in alignment with Security Solutions strategic product priorities.

Cybersecurity within SSO has over 20 products and programs. The Cybersecurity Commercialization Manager will be responsible for tracking, documenting and helping implement the commercialization strategies for a set of products and initiatives within this vertical.

Services within Mastercard is responsible for acquiring, engaging, and retaining customers by managing fraud and risk, enhancing cybersecurity, and improving the digital payments experience. We provide value-added services and leverage expertise, data-driven insights, and execution.

In this role, you will:
• Help implement active commercialization initiatives to bring Cybersecurity solutions and enhancements to market efficiently and effectively, ensuring ready availability, accurate and holistic reporting and ongoing alignment with downstream applications and tools.
• Track and document commercialization initiatives across the Studio lifecycle
Implement Studio processes and best practices across the entire product lifecycle, simplifying product commercialization to avoid missteps and missed steps
• Help facilitate organizational and roadmap tracking strategies across the enterprise, implementing best-practice approaches to product classification, hierarchies and attribute management.
• Manage product commercialization strategies, roadmaps and deliverables to effectively align and accelerate deployment of Cybersecurity solutions.
• Coordinate and execute product roadmap planning, development and commercialization milestones, activities and deliverables across each step including Ideation/Product Council intake, Pricing/billing, Legal/regulatory/franchise, Operations/technical development, Marketing/branding/sales enablement, Customer communications, Training for sales/delivery/support/customers, Implementation/delivery/support, Product reference documentation, Studio peer review gating.
• Communicate and help align product commercialization strategies, roadmaps and milestones across all impacted product, regional and cross-functional business partners.
• Work closely with global product managers, regional market managers and cross-functional business partners (finance, legal, operations, marketing, delivery, support, etc.) to synchronize and own go-to-market strategies and priorities, and to ensure appropriate delivery of product initiatives on time and within budget per business objectives and revenue projections.
• Help communicate and streamline product positioning and messaging throughout the organization, ensuring awareness, accuracy and consistency across all internal/external touch points.

All About You:
• Expert organization, documentation and follow-through across multiple initiatives with varying complexity
• Expert analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail. Expert skill in Microsoft Excel is required
• Experience in end-to-end ownership of project management capabilities
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity, including strategy, risks and trends
• Strong understanding of the payments industry and ecosystem.
• Strong understanding of product development and management principles and concepts. Specific Studio knowledge/application is a plus.
• Strong skills and experience developing and executing product positioning, messaging, branding, marketing and communications in product sales presentations, internal/external summaries, FAQs, case studies, sales training, infographics demos/videos and more. Strong visual design (i.e. Microsoft PowerPoint) proficiency is required.
• Strong ability to understand and translate complex technical concepts into simple, understandable product narratives.
• Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all layers of an organization.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task across multiple complex projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment to deliver quality work against aggressive deadlines.
• Solid grasp of technical product development principles and processes. Experience with Agile development methodology is a plus.
• Solid understanding of financial concepts, including product pricing and business case development. Product pricing and billing system experience is a plus.
• Strong ability to build strong, productive working relationships with internal stakeholders across various geographical and cross-functional disciplines (development, finance, legal, etc.).
