Title and Summary
Manager, Payroll Overview• Global Payroll is a part of MasterCard's Global Business Service Center and is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payments to our employees globally
• The organization has team members in several locations throughout the world to provide superior customer service to our employees and align with time zones and language differences
• The position for Manager, Payroll is to lead the payroll processing and benefits administration for EEMEA as well as ensure a strong global control environment focused on key performance indicators and delivering in a cost effective and efficient manner.

Responsibilities
• Ensure key performance indicators are met and/or exceeded to deliver excellent results for the Region
• Ensure the SOX controls and business continuity efforts for the Region are adhered to and lead internal and external audits for the Region
• Visualize, communicate and oversee regional process changes introducing and fostering an environment of continuous process improvement
• Lead and inspire the team to deliver on project and business goals and deliver a priceless employee experience and develop talented individuals who can move onto other HR roles or roles within the business.
• Lead complex vendor management issues with regional counterparts to leverage strong service across the region and resolve issues timely where they exist
• Lead acquisition integrations and new country expansion throughout the region from initiation through implementation
Experiences
• Experience in payroll operations, tax and/or global mobility and ability to demonstrate success in designing and managing global operational controls
• Strong management skills: ability to lead, coach and motivate organization effectively
• Strong process management skills and regional/global cultural awareness
• Strong project management and problem solving skills with the ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams
• Ability to be flexible in a fast paced, deadline focused, changing environment
• Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to work with people at all levels in the organization
• Solid communication skills, ability and willingness to exercise initiative
