Title and Summary

Manager, Global Sponsorships Advance Sponsorships Marketing beyond the experience, by delivering results at scale, through innovation, sensory, content and partnerships. Help develop and implement platform-specific integrated programs in golf, rugby, soccer, F1 and/or other passion platforms for B2C, B2B2C, and B2B. Bring creative thinking and a social-forward mindset to uncover new and innovative ways that will bring our sponsorships to life for customers and cardholders.

Role:
• Support day to day management of all contractual rights and assets, e.g. football (soccer), golf, rugby, F1 – including liaising with Priceless team on consumer packages, Global Consumer Marketing team on multisensory for activations, and B2B Marketing teams for the latest product & services to showcase at events
• Develop sell-in decks for various sports properties, in support of passion cards and asset utilization, in partnership with the B2B Marketing and Priceless teams
• Liaise with regions and market sponsorship and consumer marketing teams on usage of global sports properties for local creative (OOH, social, etc.)
• Support Director of Global Sponsorships in coordination of global sports campaigns—including creative strategy process, launch plans, social calendars, and dissemination of the content across regions/markets, in partnership with the Global Digital and Brand teams
• Liaise with sports marketing agency for social tracking tools (e.g. Hookit) and provide monthly reporting across all sponsorships with recommendations for regions
• Track sell-in requests and monetization for select global sports properties
• Support planning, financial tracking, and branding of activations and hospitality across football, golf, and other properties
• In partnership with the Environmental Sustainability team, support coordination of measurement pilots with regions and provide quarterly report recapping results
• Ongoing sustainability roundtable meetings with sponsorship property lead and properties to gather progress in reducing carbon emissions
• Update monthly sponsorships sustainability report for Mastercard executives

All About You:

The ideal candidate for this position should:

• Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with both global, cross-functional and agency teams
• Ability to work effectively in a global environment – may require early/late calls due to multiple time zones, provide customized deliverables per hub or market-specific needs
• Be skilled at explaining technical problems succinctly and clearly
• Advanced skills with PPT & Excel to create high-quality presentations
• Have a proficient understanding of sponsorship rights management and experiential marketing
• Experience in marketing strategy

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
