The Finance Business Partner function manages all aspects of management reporting encompassing budgeting and forecasting and strategic planning. This includes the management and execution of the corporate reporting and planning requirements.
This position is responsible for supporting the Director, FBP BMI based in Gurgaon (India) across a broad spectrum of strategic processes and initiatives while managing and executing the corporate reporting and planning requirements
Role
• Budgeting and forecasting short/long-term plans, as well as preparing and analysing internal financial reports and communicating results of operations to the Business and Market Insights (BMI) services group
• Activities include month-end reporting, reconciliations managing risks and opportunities related to both Revenue and Expenses
• Supports the Business and Market Insights (BMI) services group with financial and budget related needs; conducts financial analysis for leadership
• Prepares monthly reporting and analysis of financial results and communicates to global product management, including oversight of opportunities and risks related to financial plan
• Prepare financial ad-hoc reporting and analysis demonstrating insightful use of financial analysis techniques, tools, and concepts, to provide practical counsel to business partners and management in order to drive business results
• Support various financial business cases, models, and standard templates ensuring quality, accuracy and focused analytic review
•Proactively research and resolve financial inquiries and issues for product leads
• Performs the annual target and budget process by issuing guidelines, analyzing performance, producing key management reporting, consolidating information and tracking changes
• Participate in consolidation activities including coordinating transfers and providing support between various finance functions to align on strategic financial initiatives
All About you:
• Educational qualification – CA or Post Graduation in Finance or MBA Finance
• Experience in financial roles with advanced knowledge and experience with all phases of financial planning and management
• Good knowledge of Business Intelligence tools and experience with financial systems/applications (e.g. Hyperion and Oracle)
• Good understanding of reporting, forecasting and budgeting techniques.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Self-motivated with a proven track record of delivering success while operating in a team environment.
• Ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency and accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple activities of different nature in a condensed timeframe
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Language - Fluent English Speaker
• Strong strategic thinking and business understanding
