Title and Summary
Manager, Finance Business Partner Overview:The Mastercard Services Finance team is predominately responsible for end-to-end financial stewardship for the Services organization. This role is primarily responsible for supporting Global Loyalty as Manager, Finance Business Partner and will participate in and eventually lead the direct support of the business. Additionally, opportunities will exist to take on additional analyses and projects supporting the broader Services Finance team.
Role:
The Finance Business Partner role assumes responsibility for planning, operating performance, monthly close and management reporting for the Global Loyalty programs in the EUR and MEA regions and be the Rewards program global finance business partner. The role also plays an integral role in execution and tracking of strategic plans. The role is in Purchase, NY at Mastercard headquarters, and it will report to the Director, Finance Business Partner – Global Loyalty.
Responsibilities include:
• Manages all aspects of financial planning and forecasting from a region/time-zone, product and customer perspective.
• Partners with business to address all financial needs including tracking of performance and insuring data integrity of reporting.
• Manages aspects of month end financial close in partnership with the business, the Controllers and Global Business Shared Service teams.
• Drives creation of monthly reporting package for region/time-zone business leads
• Partners with Global Loyalty team members in the regions to gain a deeper understanding of project expenses and forecasts to further enhance accuracy of forecasts and identify opportunities for improvement
• Partners with the businesses in supporting strategic growth plans both near and long term, assisting with business case modelling and providing thought leadership
• Proactively drives and implements continuous process improvement activities and supports in maintaining a strong control environment
• Supports Director and VP in execution of all other duties as they become necessary.
All About You:
• A BS or BA with a major in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (MBA Preferred) with previous finance experience
• Previous experience in Finance is required
• The ideal candidate is fast-paced and highly analytical who demonstrates business acumen and thought leadership to deliver results within a global, growing and profitable business
• A team player with the ability to communicate effectively and develop solid working relationships across multiple levels and organizational boundaries is required.
• Experience building internal and external business partnerships; develops and leverages key relationships in order to assist with the needs and objectives of stakeholders
•Experience managing major elements of large, cross-functional projects
•Demonstrated success working with partners across other business units and markets in support of cross-functional programs
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel/PowerPoint) in data compilation, aggregation and modeling is required
• Experience with Alteryx, Oracle, and Hyperion is a plus. Purchase, New York: $117,000 - $182,000 USDApply on company website
