Title and Summary

Manager, Business Development Merchant Development is responsible for the key differentiating products and services that MasterCard delivers to its customers (digital and brick&mortar)
• This position will play a key role in helping MasterCard create business with all new players in the payment industry like retail, stores, small and medium business, T&E, digital business and else.

Main accountabilities:

• Analyze the market to identify priorities around all merchants.
• Identify market opportunities and drive product strategy, roadmap, and features
• Interact with functional areas to identify solutions and opportunities for merchants
• Responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining new processes for both new and existing payment methods in merchants
• Manage the multiple project tracks and lead the overall program. Provide status updates, identify risk, drive issue resolution, and take ownership to create success
• Develop the strategy for those opportunities identified in Central America.
• Drive new business development by sourcing new relationships in the assigned countries.
• Initiate conversations with key decision makers for existing, new or emerging product opportunities in Central America.
• Execute the overall market Development Strategy to support Central America objectives, and present it for approval.

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Work experience in business development and/or planning organizations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; fluent knowledge (both written and spoken) in English.
