Responsibilities:
• The role sits in Payment Networks Organization, responsible for business-critical activities like authorization, switching, clearing etc.
• This role will be working across a broad range of cross-functional teams to drive the gRPC and Event Driven Application strategy for Payment Networks
• Drive product vision, strategies and roadmaps in alignment with broader organizational strategies and goals
• Lead and motivate a team of engineers and other cross-functional representatives towards the product vision.
• Define, establish, and continually refine a domain product vision & objectives, establish a product charter, and create and maintain a domain roadmap
• Working with product owners with each scrum team, ensure backlogs are properly prioritized and refined according to anticipated business value & measurable outcomes
• Lead the design and build of the product with engineering
• Measure outcomes & seek continuous improvements: Evaluate & seek to improve existing practices, metrics, and roles to continually optimize.
• Evangelize and build stakeholder goodwill through regular communications and soliciting feedback.
• Agile Mindset: Advocate for taking an agile approach to product development through all activities from defining an epic to writing acceptance criteria on a user story.

All About You:
Required Skills/Qualifications:
• 5 + years technical product management or related industry experience
• Bachelor's degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information
Systems, or a related field.
• Proven communication skills
• Experience working in a technical environment with a broad, cross functional team to drive
product vision, define product requirements, coordinate resources from other groups and guide
the team through key milestones
• Experience navigating through the full product life-cycle, integrating stakeholder feedback into
product requirements, driving prioritization, and pre/post-launch execution
• Good understanding of system/ application architectures and how various product or
architectural choices interplay
Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
• 2+ years' Experience in gRPC and Event Driven Architecture.
• Knowledge of Credit Card/Payment Systems.
• Experience presenting to executive audiences. In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
