Title and Summary

Director, Product Development, Fraud and Decisioning Overview
The AI Fraud Solutions team is looking for a Director, Product Development to drive the product roadmap execution for transaction fraud and decisioning solutions. In this role, the candidate will lead cross functional execution of development activities to deliver scalable value-added products and services to customers globally. The ideal candidate has a passion for bringing ideas to life and a proven ability to work across teams to drive and deliver execution.
Role

• Build and maintain overall product development roadmap and schedule
• Lead projects from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and implementation plans, including risk mitigation
• Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure that projects adhere to scope, schedule, and budget
• Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels and escalate issues, as necessary
• Provide coordination and oversight for product release and/or enhancements for the Global Product team.
• Anticipates potential planning gaps and the impact of changes to improve plan specifics in current/ future projects across more complex work efforts
• Identifies when a project is going off-track and adjusts as needed to guarantee internal customer expectations are met
• Anticipates future project risks and thoroughly prepares contingency plans by voluntarily going beyond expectations across technology project initiatives

All About You
The ideal candidate for this position should:
• Advanced experience in product development and/or project management in an agile environment
• Experience in developing detailed product roadmaps and project execution plans.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills and experience establishing guidelines in these areas for colleagues.
• Strong sense of personal accountability regarding decision-making and managing across functional teams
• Experience working in a high-level collaborative environment and promoting a teamwork mentality.
• Managerial experience applying analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to predict challenges and proactively mitigate risks and challenges.
• Excellent written and verbal presentation and communication skills

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
