Director, Franchise Business Partner Franchise Divisional Lead - Australia and New Zealand

Role
• This individual contributor role offers a dynamic and energetic individual to lead our Franchise function in Mastercard's largest division in the APAC region.
• Working hand in hand with the Divisional Leadership you will drive transformation, strategy development, new deals with customers and/or customer segments and drive performance optimization in the ecosystem
• Deliver revenue from Franchise Management Programs, Franchise Solutions advisory services
• Provide creative thought leadership focusing on new opportunities, evolving payment flows (digital, non-traditional), multi-rail solutions and new customer segments
• Develop new concepts that support expanding the franchise and creating additional value for Mastercard and its customers, while at the same time ensuring the integrity of our assets
• Stay ahead of business trends related to new market and business opportunities; understand/communicate potential impact on licenses, rules, compliance and systems
• Translate changes in the regulatory and legal landscape into standards and requirements strategy relevant to Mastercard's business
• Provide direction for new products and new customer types to transform the payment ecosystem, based on advancement of industry rules and standards
• Leverage input from internal stakeholders to enhance and align existing and new requirements on rules to enable Franchise growth
• Execute on the teams' objectives to achieve Franchise priorities in tandem with region's business objectives

All About You
• Proven ability to identify, develop and close new business opportunities
• Confident, proactive and ambitious personality; demonstrated persistence in identifying and resolving issues and developing opportunities and solutions
• Background in customer management
• Suitable candidates will bring a breadth of knowledge across the payment industry, with a passion for product commercialisation and business development
• You enjoy playing a hands-on role and can demonstrate a successful track record in translating strategies into large scale programs and adapting them across business and/or markets
• Ability to work in a high paced team environment
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and initiatives while exercising sound judgment and flexibility
• Possess strong analytical skills, detail oriented and ability to operate effectively in a complex global environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills – ability to influence/work cross functionally and across levels in a matrix organization
