Mastercard Security Solutions develops and delivers world-class security products and services for Mastercard customers across the globe. As part of this organization, the Identity Solutions team leads the development and delivery of solutions that provide data, insights, and risk scores to prevent fraud and increase successful transactions, account openings, and signs ups in the online digital economy.
As a Customer Facing Data Insight Manager, you will report in the Director of our Global Emerging Solutions Team within Mastercard Identity Solutions to empower Mastercard's strategic clients with actionable insights and data-driven strategies, driving the adoption and success of our identity solutions. This role combines expertise in data analysis with customer engagement to influence decision-making, optimize outcomes, and enhance the value clients derive from our products.
The ideal candidate is passionate about leveraging data to solve complex business challenges, with a strong ability to communicate insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. They are well-versed in payment industry trends and thrive on turning data into meaningful recommendations.
Role
Data-driven customer engagement:
- Act as the primary data expert for Emerging Solution clients globally, providing tailored insights and analytics to address their unique business needs.
- Leverage Mastercard and client data to identify trends, patterns, and actionable recommendations that enhance product performance and client ROI.
- Collaborate directly with clients to present findings, guide decision-making, and influence strategic initiatives.
Analytics and insights:
- Data extraction and interpretation / presentation, from existing dashboards to communicate product impact and usage trends.
- Define and monitor KPIs to track client success and measure the effectiveness of emerging solutions.
Voice of the customer:
- Serve as the voice of the client within Mastercard Identity Solutions, gathering feedback and sharing data-backed recommendations with internal Product and Marketing teams.
- Develop tailored materials, including data stories and case studies, to communicate the value of Identity solutions to internal and external stakeholders.
Industry and Market Expertise:
- Stay informed on industry trends and competitive dynamics to provide clients with forward-looking insights.
- Use data to help clients navigate industry changes, uncover opportunities, and mitigate risks in the evolving payments ecosystem.
- Support clients in benchmarking their performance against market standards and identifying areas for improvement.
All about you:
- Proficient in data analysis tools, techniques, and visualization platforms (e.g. Tableau, SQL, Python, Excel).
- Ability to analyse complex datasets, identify patterns, and extract meaningful business insights.
- Strong experience working directly with clients, presenting data insights, and influencing strategic decisions.
- 3-5 years experience in payments, risk, and fraud ecosystems
- Proven ability to work across functional teams, including Product, Marketing, Sales, and Account Management.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively under limited supervision
- Comfort in a fast-paced tech environment
