Overview:
The Cross-border Services Global Product Team team is looking for an Operating Controls Manager to drive our product management governance efforts forward by establishing an operating model framework and improving internal processes. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly motivated, analytical, and possesses a process-driven mindset.
Role:
• Governance framework development: Development and maintenance of internal operational policies and control procedures.
• Target operating model: Plan, build and maintain an operating model for the product organization within the cross-border payments team.
• Change controls management: Development and management of internal change controls for product activities, with lean on proactive monitoring for regulatory change visibility.
• Process development: Managing updates and improvements on product processes by regularly liaising with all LOBs, managing a periodic review and fielding intake tickets on process improvements.
• Business process advisory: Evaluating existing cross-functional processes for efficiency and coverage, and identifying areas for improvement while coordinating with relevant stakeholders.
All About You:
The ideal candidate for this position should have:
• Significant experience in business transformation, project/program management, or governance, ideally in a fast-paced operations environment managing multi-stakeholder/geography projects simultaneously
• Deep knowledge of payment and clearing systems as they relate to both domestic and cross border payments
• Understanding of current payment trends and developments, both from a flow and technological perspective
• Ability to interact and communicate virtually with stakeholders across multiple geographies
• Sense of ownership, both for directly managed projects as well as broader business outcomes
• Experience working with banks, fintechs and/or large corporates as it relates to payments and payment solutions
• PMP/PgMP and/or Lean Six Sigma certified
• CRM software/tool experience
• Significant experience in the technical data exchange systems (e.g. APIs, web platforms, etc.)
• Understanding different client segment needs such as Banks, Financial Institutions, Payment Service Providers and Corporates
• Basic people management experience
