Title and Summary
Associate Product Manager - Technical - SSO00175 OverviewThe Network Behavior Management team is looking for an Associate Product Manager – Technical who will be responsible for supporting the ideation, development, and technical management of thoughtful programs (TPEs) and services aimed at improving network performance and ecosystem activity. This role will look to manage the day-to-day operations and provide technical and analytical support to ensure Transaction Processing Excellence (TPE) programs are properly set to drive the desired behavior and compliance to Mastercard Rules, Standards, and Best Practices.
Role
In this position, you will:
• Support the day-to-day operations related to Transaction Processing Excellence (TPE) programs, working closely with the regions, customer support and account management teams to drive proper understanding of the TPE program criteria
• Work with development teams, software engineering, product management, and other internal groups to ensure a clear understanding of business needs and the software application context.
• Perform TPE feature/enhancement estimates, running technical code required to extract the raw data for analysis.
• Support implementation of potential enhancements to the existing programs to increase their effectiveness or expand their scope.
• Support incubation of new ideas leading to credible product ideas and improvements and TPE programs, in line with the global network strategy
• Ensure effective collaboration, communication and socialization of program changes and new programs/services to the regions and other key stakeholders
• Use statistics and business knowledge to originate, design and implement analyses to support business and customer needs
All About You
The ideal candidate for this position should have:
• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, technology or related field
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Scala, Oracle and SQL
• Hands-on experience with tools such as Hadoop and Apache Spark
• Proven analytical skills with the ability of translating data into meaningful insights
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong, productive working relationships with internal stakeholders and external customers
