Title and Summary

Associate Analyst, Settlement Operations Overview

• Prepaid Management Services (MPMS) is the division of Mastercard that concentrates on prepaid solutions such as our Multi-Currency Cash Passport product.
• Traditionally focused on the travel sector, our business is driving forward prepaid throughout the world with innovative and leading solutions that we integrate with global brands.
• As part of the MPMS Global Treasury Team, you will provide the necessary day-to-day support with settlement, reconciliation, and treasury activities and also assist with projects.

Role
• Reporting daily and monthly figures for Treasury.
• Reconciling distributor and issuer related transactions.
• Assisting with the implementation of process improvements.
• Assisting with various projects, the successful onboarding of new customers and processes into the team where required.
• Processing settlement payments within the accepted SLA timings.
• Ensuring processes are accurately documented and executed within internal and external standards.
• Participating in cross-training to meet task rotation and business continuity requirements.

All About You

• Demonstrates basic knowledge of treasury principles.
• Reconciliation experience.
• Ability to perform treasury, reconciliation, and settlements processes accurately and within given deadlines.
• Exposure to electronic banking and accounting systems and principles is advantageous.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong team player.
• Willingness to learn and work in a flexible environment.
• Position requires flexible business hours availability to meet the demands of a global organization.
