Title and Summary

Analyst, Research & Insights - Global Marketing & Communications The Global Foresights, Insights and Analytics team is looking for an Analyst to drive our brand and product strategy forward. In this role, you will play a key role in supporting strategic research initiatives, fueling thought leadership and developing future perspectives that will fuel innovation internally and externally. The ideal candidate is passionate about research, staying ahead of industry trends, highly motivated, intellectually curious and possess a strong ability to derive actionable insights from data to inform decision-making.

Role
In this role, you will:
• Develop & execute research plans based on identifying key business questions and knowledge gaps
• Manage research project from start to finish- translate business questions in to research plan; source appropriate research partner; develop questionnaire, data & analysis plan; write report/presentation and communicate to key stakeholders
• Manage research agencies to successful and timely project delivery, managing within budget
• Gather, analyze, and synthesize data from diverse sources to support strategic decision-making across Mastercard's global teams.
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and presentations that provide actionable insights into market opportunities, customer needs, and industry developments.
• Collaborate with teams across Mastercard, including product, strategy, and marketing, to ensure research and analysis align with business objectives
• Develop future perspectives to inform thought leadership and inspire innovation internally and externally.
• Support thought leadership and contribute to the creation of whitepapers and other materials to showcase Mastercard's expertise in the payments, security and innovation.

All About You
The ideal candidate for this position should:
• Have 1-3 years of experience in research, data analysis or a related field
• Have an analytical mindset, with a passion for deconstructing and reframing questions
• Be proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and data analysis tools
• Possess strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex data, identify trends and generate insights
• Be curious
• Be skilled at explaining technical problems succinctly and clearly
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Be able to communicate your ideas effectively to a wide variety of stakeholders
• Possess the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment, and a willingness to experiment with new approaches

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. Purchase, New York: $75,000 - $120,000 USD
