Role:
In this role, they will join the existing global Market Development team with a focus on the AP region. They will be responsible for identifying potential merchant partners, sourcing good contacts, and setting up calls to discuss an Ethoca partnership. Will also be tasked with running initial discovery calls to qualify/disqualify opportunities. In this role you will:

• Methodically prospect up to executive level within enterprise target accounts.
• Leverage unique payment datasets to identify merchants that could benefit from Ethoca solutions.
• Input and track all prospecting and lead management activities in Salesforce CRM. Educate, and qualify inbound leads via phone and email to create sales-ready opportunities.
• Consistently achieve qualified opportunity quotas (monthly, quarterly, and annually) to ensure revenue objectives
• Disseminate opportunities to the merchant sales team, educating sales executives as necessary about early-stage opportunities.
• Represent Ethoca at industry tradeshows and networking events
• Identify and understand trends within industries and customers

All About You

Bachelor's Degree Required
"Can do" and positive attitude to effect change, open and creative mindset; comfortable with uncertainty, changing and fast paced environment.
In-depth knowledge / experience using all relevant tools to source and prospect (LinkedIn Sales Nav, Zoominfo, Outreach.io, Drift, etc.)
Technology and/or Payments Industry experience preferred
Excellent oral and written communication, negotiation, sales acumen, product management, project management, leading and influencing others cross functional team members, and technology application skills are critical
Required Skills and Experience:
• 2+ years' experience in a Sales/Lead Generation (ideally selling Payment related services or software-as-a-service)
• Determined personality and driven by results
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong listening skills
• Salesforce experience
