Oakland Family Medicine, part of the dedicated primary care team of MaineGeneral Medical Center is seeking a board certified or board eligible Family Medicine Physician to join their busy and well-established practice located in Oakland, Maine.
The ideal candidate will have a commitment to providing care to an underserved population. Enjoy a 32-hour clinical workweek and the benefit of a designated 8-hour administrative day. On call responsibility is shared with another practice and handled by phone only.
Oakland Family Medicine is a traditional outpatient practice, providing a wide range of care: pediatrics, adult medicine, gynecology, and geriatric medicine. Procedural care, such as osteopathic manipulation, sports medicine, minor surgery, and acupuncture, is encouraged, though not required; the ability to perform medication-assisted treatment for opioid use disorder is also available.
Located in a new building, conveniently located off I-95, this practice has all new equipment, an on-site lab and a fully equipped procedure room! Oakland Family Medicine is also pleased to have two very supportive RN's, a PMHNP and a shared LCSW as members of the team. Join a practice that prides itself on being close knit and approachable.
