- MUST BE PROFICIENT in reading Tele Strips as there are No Monitor Techs on this unit also strong cardiac telemetry
- 2 years Preferred Acute Care Experience – Will accept less based upon skillset and experience

- Preferred Skillset: Experience with cardiac surgery (CABG/valve replacement/post aortic dissection repair), thoracic surgery (VATS, wedge resection, lobectomy), comfort with chest tubes, temporary epicardial pacemakers. Post-TAVR patient. Medical treatment Cardiology: Heart Failure, Pulmonary Hypertension. Familiar with Amio, insulin, dobutamine, nitro, milrinone, diltiazem, Surgical/trauma/tele

- Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
- Weekend Hours: 36 (unless otherwise noted): Every to every other weekend
- Call Requirements: none
- Float Requirements: First to float, will float to other med/surg units as needed.

- Number of Beds: 36 – Possible increase in Fall 2024
- Patient Ratios: 1:4 day shift, 1:5 night shift
- Equipment: Chest Tubes, Temp pacemakers, Telemetry machine/monitors, Baxter & Abbott Pumps
- EMR: Epic
- Type of Patients on Unit: cardiac telemetry, post cardiac and thoracic surgeries, coronary disease, pre-op, cabg.
