Job Summary
Under the general direction of department management, participates in and supports projects as assigned. Projects can include, but are not limited to, the areas of operational efficiency, financial analysis, market research, access to care, customer service, and clinical/financial proficiency.
Minimum QualificationsMinimum Education: Master's Degree in Health Administration, Business Administration, or Related field
Minimum Years of Experience: None.
Substitutable Education & Experience (Optional): A Master's Degree can be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree with one of the following;
2 Years of Health Care Experience
--OR--
Successful completion of a 1 year healthcare-related fellowship or residency program
Currently within the acceptable interview period of the LMC Practice Administration Fellowship with successful completion pending
Required Certifications/Licensure: None.
Required Training: Demonstrated experience in preparing presentations utilizing various software tools;
Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word.
Essential Functions- Gathers, analyzes, and interprets data to draw conclusions and/or make recommendations.
- Participates in working sessions with stake holders to obtain necessary project information or assist in project execution.
- Writes and presents deliverables in a clear and concise manner. Summarizes information in a logical format and, when appropriate, provides well-supported recommendations for implementation.
- Identifies potential process improvements, economies of scale and productivity enhancements.
- Utilizes various approaches for projects including; workflow assessments, best practices evaluations and implementation, operational efficiency evaluations, performance reporting development, and performance improvement action plans.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
