Job Summary
To cultivate gifts from new and existing annual donors and to maintain positive donor relationships through the development and implementation of positive stewardship programs, communications programs and processes. Will maintain all fundraising and research database systems and processes, create/design standard reports and provide reports to Foundation staff as needed, query fundraising database for all mail lists pulls for campaigns, special events and donor events. Ensure appropriate acknowledgement and accounting of funds.
Minimum QualificationsMinimum Education: Bachelor's Degree in Public Health, Communications/Public Relations, Non Profit Management or related field. (Candidate currently enrolled in school may be considered with the required completion of Bachelor's degree within two years of employment in position.)
Minimum Years of Experience: 3+ years of progressively responsible experience in managing stewardship programs.

Required Certifications/Licensure: None.
Required Training: Must be proficient with Raiser's Edge or other fundraising database and have experience in operational and infrastructure process, procedural enhancement, fundraising strategy and donor development;
Must have proven track record of achieving revenue goals and/or prospect quotas in a philanthropic environment;
Ability to communicate with donors, understand their charitable goals, and develop a plan to meet those goals is essential;
Excellent computer skills.
- Manage the Annual Giving program, specifically of those internal and external donors giving less than or equal to $1,000 per year, to include HOPE employee campaign, external Founders Society, Grateful Hearts program, Midlands Gives, etc.
- Grow and maintain a consistent and year-long Annual Giving Campaign, by cultivating/soliciting new donors and stewarding the current donor programs.
- Identify and implement best practices in annual giving programs with Foundation staff and to determine strategies for effective stewardship of annual donors.
- Help in identifying annual fund donors that are potential major gift prospects or have potential to upgrade annual giving and assist with developing strategy for next steps.
- Manage the donor recognition programs, such as Donor Wall.
- Assist as needed in creating and implementing communication strategies to enhance donor relations and stewardship that will effectively communicate the Foundation's mission and successes.
- Assist in developing marketing materials related to annual giving efforts; to include internal communication, HOPE collateral pieces as well as external messaging.
- Recruit and coordinate volunteers for assistance with Foundation activities as needed.
- Develop and maintain working relationships with other community organizations in related fields and represent the Foundation at outreach events.
- Manage special events for annual donors, both internal and external.
- Prepare correspondence and reports related to annual giving activities.
- Utilize Raiser's Edge to manage prospects and weekly contact reports.
- Administer Raiser's Edge fundraising database and reconciliation.
- Maintains and utilizes Raiser's Edge to manage the gift acceptance process to ensure the accuracy of donor data and generate donor status reports and management reports.
- Stays abreast of system issues and makes recommendations to fully utilize the technology to meet the needs of the LMC Foundation.
- Maintains and builds donor database through renewal/prospect/moves management tracking.
- Conducts donor-prospect research and data mining.
- Responsible for administration of honorarium, memorial, Grateful Heart programs and year end fundraising efforts.
- Oversees gift deposits, donor recognition and donor acknowledgment processes to include ensuring prompt and timely donor correspondence.
- Manages annual donor charitable contributions receipt and acknowledgement process in conformity with IRS rules and regulations with accounting department.
- Utilizes and analyzes campaign and donor data to assist Foundation staff in making strategic decisions that balance limited Foundation resources with broad philanthropic impact.
- Conduct monthly reconciliation of Raiser's Edge data in conjunction with Lexington Medical Center Accounting department.
- Responsible for Foundation's daily deposits including notifying team of such deposits for purposes of tracking in Raiser's Edge.
- Constantly evaluate impact of donor relations programs and develop and implement processes that will improve programs.
- Works with team to prepare correspondence and reports related to donor relations activities.
- Provide support for special events, including mailing lists, logistics, etc.
- Balance donor base of potential donors (50+) while also tracking continuous Doctors Circle, Founders and employee donors.
- Supervise 20+ volunteers at any given time.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
