Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 16:30) Description: Minimum Experience: 4 years; 1st Timers are accepted Patient Population: Adults to Geriatrics Certifications Required: BLS General Skills and Work Setting Requirements: Generally, patients are seen in clinic in afternoons M - W. Thursday clinic is usually 9am - 3:30pm. Mornings are admin work: obtaining images, patient follow-up, returning messages, surgical authorizations, etc. There are no nights, weekends, call, or major holidays working. When patients are in clinic, position requires working up patients, vitals, suture/staple removal, putting in electronic orders. LPN will need cardiology experience, cardiothoracic surgery experience preferred. Ratio / Census: 4 Rooms with 1:10 patient ratio; average daily census of 5-12 M-W, 15-30 TH Unit Systems: Epic Scrub Color: Black RTO: MAX 7 days Weekends: None Floating: Rare, but could be floated to another clinic Call Requirements: None Holidays: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays. Major Holidays are listed below: New Year's Eve and Day: Sunday, December 31 & Monday, January 1 Memorial Day: Monday, May 27 Independence Day: Thursday, July 4 Labor Day: Monday, September 2 Thanksgiving/Black Friday: Thursday, November 28 & Friday November 29 Christmas Eve and Day: Sunday, December 24 & Monday, December 25 Compliance: Full compliance required to start on time; if not compliant in time the push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule. *Pre Screen* Pre-Screen Unit - Candidate will be reviewed by clinical to determine clinical fit, if clinical pass and within Piedmont guidelines, candidate will be sent to the manager for final decision.
