Position: Welder with Fabricating Experience
Location: Goodwood, Nova Scotia
About the Role:
Join Kelly's team at Atlantic Canada's largest scrap metal recycling facility! We're looking for a skilled and safety-conscious Welder to handle a variety of tasks, including welding, fabrication, and equipment repair. You'll work with advanced welding equipment and techniques, ensuring top-quality results.

• Full-time hours: Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM - 5:30 PM; Saturday, 7:00 AM - 12:00 PM (can be discussed)
• Opportunity for overtime as required

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate semi-automatic welding equipment to weld metal segments using processes such as SMAW, FCAW, pre-heating, tack welding, and flame cutting
• Torch cutting
• Welding, fabrication, and repair of various equipment
• Perform minor repairs to equipment

Qualifications & Skills:

• Good communication skills
• Completion of college/technical training or a combination of training and experience
• Safety-minded approach to work
• 3+ years of welding experience (preferred)
• Reliable transportation to and from work (no public transportation available to this location
