Warehouse DC Associate

Kelly Services is seeking a dedicated Warehouse DC Associate to join our team in Roanoke, VA. The DC Associate will be responsible for receiving and moving materials within the warehouse, verifying inventory quantities, maintaining accurate paperwork, and operating warehouse equipment safely. This role is essential to the overall efficiency of our operations.

Job Title: Warehouse DC Associate
Location: Roanoke, VA
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:30am to 3pm
Pay Rate: $18.55 per hour

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Mark pallets with identifying store information.
  • Use lift equipment (manual pallet jack or forklift) as needed after training and certification.
  • Pick and stage parts for store replenishment.
  • Operate a hand-held radio frequency device (RF Scanner).
  • Read and interpret safety rules, instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Accurately perform basic math operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
  • Required overtime, including weekends and holidays, may be requested with little notice.
Physical Requirements:
  • Regularly standing, walking, using hands and fingers, reaching with arms, talking, and hearing.
  • Frequently stopping, kneeling, crouching, or stooping.
  • Occasionally sitting, climbing, or balancing.
  • Regularly lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds, and frequently lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds. Items heavier than 50 lbs will be moved using a pallet jack (WP) or forklift (AAP).
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
