Turnaround Material Coordinator
Turnaround Material Coordinator (TA MC) will have overall responsibility and accountability to ensure all turnaround material and equipment is available for plant turnarounds. The TA MC will follow a defined work process utilizing SAP and excel spreadsheets to order material, track and ensure on-time delivery of material as well as oversee material marshallers to perform material QC and finally stage the equipment at the job site.
Job Duties:
- Process material identified on the TA PM's
- Determine if purchased via SAP, should be Pro-Card purchase (per procurement rules) or process so it comes from MRO warehouse
- Update PMOs according to material status in SAP
- Mark receipt of material
- Responsible for any returns of material, Return to MRO or Vendor, Return material to block bin stock, Redeploy material after the TA (Help TAC)
- Help TAC with unused/excess inventory
- Complete Materials Finalization Report
- Share procurement policies and/or changes
- Coach folks to follow the policies
- Help expedite orders, if requested
- Receiving/Invoicing Issues
- Help solve receiving & invoicing issues
- Update delivery dates on PO's
- Request pricing updates on PO's
- Collaborates with identified SMEs to document quality of critical MRO parts.
- Accountable to ensure all materials meet the time requirements of the identified TA scope, with particular attention to verification of long lead items.
- Complete the Platinum tasks associated with the Platinum TA work process and present material readiness in stage gate.
- Leads a team of material marshallers ranging from 4 to 18 to:
- Validate that TA components meet specifications in material and quantity.
- Stage the material per a defined strategy.
- Issue the material insuring accountability and traceability.
- Manage the disposition of left over material, and create a material finalization report to document material consumed, bin stocked, returned to vendor, and discarded.
