Treasury Analyst
Location:  Woodland Hills, CA (5 days/week onsite)
Contract Duration:  3 months
Contract Type:  W2 through Staffing Supplier

Job Summary
- Key position supporting the senior staff in all treasury functions from day-to-day cash management to global operations.
- High focus on system and process improvements and efficiencies within the Treasury group which will include, designing and improving workflows, optimizing treasury workstation and bank portals usage, and continuously enhancing treasury controls while ensuring compliance with Farmers risk policies.
- Prepare reports and analysis for management personnel at all levels.
- Assist in providing other finance support and special project analysis as required.
- Work closely under direct supervision of a Treasury Manager.


Essential Job Functions
- Support the cash management team in daily cash positioning and cash forecasting process
- Support global treasury operations in capital repatriation and in capital planning and forecasting
- Support senior treasury staff in all treasury functions
- Analyze and support deployment of additional treasury workstation functionality
- Analyze treasury processes to identify embedded operational and financial risks; enhance treasury internal controls; assist internal control sign off process
- Recommend and implement process improvements and maintain process documentations
- Support business continuity planning
- Communicate with internal and external business partners on inquiries, issues, and escalated requests.
- Assist in preparation of monthly key performance indicator metrics reports.
- Cross-train for all related treasury functions to serve as an effective backup to the team as needed.
- Participate in departmental/cross functional projects as needed.
- Track special projects and initiatives.
- Prepare ad-hoc reports, analysis and conduct special projects as necessary.
- Promote safety at all times and complies with safety/ergonomic standards as outlined in relevant company published manuals.


Education Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor's degree preferred in finance, economics, accounting, investments, sciences or business.


Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years' prior treasury, finance, or accounting experience.


Special Skill Requirement
- Applied working knowledge of a treasury management system preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills to communicate effectively with business partners.
- Solid analytical, financial and systems skills are required, including spreadsheet and basic modeling skills.
- Self-motivated, attention to detail and deadline oriented, ability to work within tight deadlines.
- Applied working knowledge of SAP preferred
- CTP (Certified Treasury Professional) preferred.


Physical Environment
- Required job duties are normally performed in a climate- controlled office environment.

A reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this position is $32 – $36/hr. The compensation range is specific to the United States and incorporates many factors including but not limited to an applicant's skills and prior relevant experience and training; licensures, degrees, and certifications; internal equity; internal pay ranges; and market data/range parameters.
