Explore the U.S. as a Floating Nuclear Pharmacist with an exciting company!

Location: Training in Somerset, NJ for the first 6 months. Post-training, travel across various US locations (all travel expenses covered by the client).

Salary: $130,000/year; with potential salary increases for each additional state pharmacist license obtained.

Shift: Varies depending on location but most likely overnight shifts

Summary: Embark on a thrilling career journey as a Floating Nuclear Pharmacist with a growing and exciting company. This role offers the unique opportunity to travel extensively across the United States, providing crucial support to our client's network of facilities. No prior experience in nuclear pharmacy is necessary— you will undergo comprehensive training and achieve nuclear certification within 6 months.

 

Job Duties Include:

  • Compound, dispense, and distribute radiopharmaceuticals, ensuring accurate data entry with Pinestar for end-of-day reports and daily dose management.
  • Perform synthesis, quality control, and quality assurance tasks for FDG and NaF, including reagent preparation.
  • Maintain compliance with USP <797>, <823>, proposed <825> regulations, state pharmacy requirements, and company SOPs.
  • Oversee aseptic operations, ensuring alignment with internal procedures, customer requirements, and FDA regulations.
  • Collaborate with site and corporate QA to manage quality investigations, including CAPAs and Out of Specifications, providing on-site QA oversight.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to healthcare providers and customers regarding radiopharmaceuticals.
  • Train and supervise nuclear pharmacy technicians, maintaining accurate training records.
  • Participate in corporate and site-level meetings as required.

 

Qualifications:

  • Doctorate of Pharmacy from an accredited pharmacy school.
  • NJ state Pharmacist License (must be willing to obtain additional state licenses post-hire).
  • Nuclear Pharmacist certification to be obtained within 6 months of hire.
  • Strong willingness and ability to travel 50%-75% of the time.
