Kelly® Science & Clinical is seeking a Testing Scientist for contract-to-hire (temp-to-permanent, ~6 month conversion) position in a clinical laboratory with one of our biotechnology partners in St. Louis, MO.

Target Pay Rate: $31-34/hour
Location:  St. Louis, MO
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00AM-5:00PM

Responsibilities:

  • Perform CLIA high-complexity lab tests following established procedures.
  • Prepare and review technical documents, including validation protocols and reports.
  • Conduct analytical validation experiments for assays in various development stages.
  • Perform QA/QC on test results and data.
  • Monitor QC through data trends, shifts, and delta checks.
  • Manage inventory of reagents and supplies.
  • Assist in developing biomarkers for neurodegenerative diseases.
  • Maintain accurate records and report results using MS Office and databases.
  • Write and update SOPs, ensuring adherence to safety policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelors in a STEM-related field
  • 3+ years of professional laboratory experience is required.
  • Experience with immunoassays, chromatography, or mass spectrometry is a plus.
  • Experience in a high-complexity testing CLIA lab is highly desirable.
  • Experience with human biological specimens and biosafety procedures.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
