Kelly Services is currently hiring a temp to hire Technical Support Specialist in Gahanna, Ohio. Our client, a leading private company dedicated to providing cutting-edge solutions in telecommunications, is seeking a dedicated individual with a strong background in providing technical assistance. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for our valued customers. Additionally, you will serve as a backup for our inventory department.
PAY: $19/hr
HOURS: 9:00am-6:00pm, Monday-Friday
General Summary of Position
As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer support. You will collaborate with colleagues in their Help Desk/Call Center department to address incoming calls, emails, or chat messages from customers seeking assistance with telecommunications concerns. Your objective is to deliver prompt and precise responses to their inquiries.
Essential Job Responsibilities- Offer primary support for wireless inquiries received via telephone daily.
- Troubleshoot customer needs, including but not limited to activating new phones, new accounts, or adding new services to existing accounts.
- Manage standard client orders, ensuring they are processed within a 4-hour service agreement.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company policies concerning Data Security (DS) and Personal Information (PI) protection.
- Perform other duties or special projects as required, in support of the department's goals.
- Excel within a team environment.
- Evaluate customer needs and determine appropriate options or procedures.
- Complete mandatory training sessions that begin on the date of hire and span four weeks.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and time management skills.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Strong active listening skills.
- Competent troubleshooting abilities.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- High-level computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and Excel.
