Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $22.50/hour
Shift: Monday-Friday, 10am-6:30pm (OT required)
Location: Jacksonville, FL (Deerwood/Baymeadows area)

What's a typical day as Team Lead (Pick/Pack)? You'll be:
• Managing a team of non-exempt distribution associates, setting direction and motivating them to meet or exceed business and team goals.
• Ensuring customer order demands and inventory accuracy while maintaining clear hoppers by the end of each business day.
• Reporting performance against daily, weekly, and monthly goals, providing timely feedback, and resolving discrepancies and quality issues.
• Review staffing to ensure that the appropriate coverage is available to support volume and recommend or make adjustments accordingly.
• Coordinate daily tactical planning with other Team Leaders and Support Groups through problem solving and decision-making processes and to expedite the process.
• Define/clearly state expectations and objectives with the team members. Ensure that all members understand requirements and expectations.
• Mediate disagreements between members. 
• Perform annual, semi-annual, and quarterly performance evaluations and meet with each team member to discuss performance. 
• Prepare and deliver counseling documents as needed
• Manage multiple tasks while maintaining daily operations.
• Be cost conscious and look for constant process improvements.
• Be innovative, forward thinking, and an excellent problem solver
• Ensure adherence to established policies, processes, and procedures.
• Effectively manage PTO to ensure adequate coverage


This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have a High School diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 2 years' experience in a supervisory position within a distribution center environment.
• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teamwork.
• Demonstrate strong conflict resolution, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining daily operations.
• Bilingual is a plus
 • Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to make quick and smart decisions under pressure
• Experience with a DCS is a plus
• Daily overtime is required
