Description

Tax Technology Support, Chicago, IL (REMOTE- needs to reside near Chicago, IL as there will be very occasional meetings onsite)

Type: Contract to hire W2
Duration: 09/09/2024 to 03/08/2025
Pay Rate: $negotiable /hr. (W2)
Interview Process: Virtual or Onsite

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for providing support to the Tax Technology Team.
  • Create documentation for new and existing processes including procedures, user guides, process flows, requirements and acceptance criteria
  • Provide day to day administrative support
  • Maintain existing and design new Tableau Dashboards and Alteryx workflows
  • Assist with transition of Alteryx workflows from shared drives to SharePoint
  • Develop process documentation to support cross-training on existing Alteryx workflows
  • Perform analysis on data and make recommendations
  • Represent the team internally/externally to the department.
  • Work independently and proactively search out potential problems and recommend solutions.
  • Demonstrate ability to acquire skills with minimal formal training

Skills:
  • SOLID problem-solving, multi-tasking and prioritization skills
  • SOLID data management and normalization skills including the ability to work with data from CSV files, MS Excel,
  • Be extremely organized and capable of handling multiple details simultaneously

Job Qualifications:
  • Developer experience with Alteryx Designer and Alteryx Server - minimum 1 year
  • Tableau experience- minimum 1 year
  • Business Intelligence – minimum 2 years

  • Tax and/or accounting experience
  • Microsoft Power Platform
  • UIPath
  • Vertex On Demand Sales & Use Tax
