Kelly® Professional & Industrial is seeking a Staff Accountant to work at a premier organization in Florham Park, NJ. Sound like something you're interested in? Pay Rate: $36.00/hr
Schedule: Hybrid - Monday - Friday 9:00AM - 5:00PM
Contract: 3-6 months with possible extension
What's a typical day as Staff Accountant? You'll be:
- Maintaining in-depth knowledge of key compliance state and federal laws, regulations, and corporate policies.
- Supporting the monitoring, documentation, and recommendations on compliance of operations and procedures.
- Performing monitoring tasks, including identifying issues, reviewing evidence, and documenting processes.
- Compiling and analyzing affiliate information to monitor transactions and reconcile figures.
- Ensuring all monitoring procedures are documented in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures.
- Conducting monthly generation of cash disbursements files and coordinating with AP for reportable transactions.
- Managing communication with Third Party Vendors and ensuring timely data entry into the Expense Manager tool.
- Preparing monthly reconciliations and maintaining constant communication with various departments.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; a Master's degree or CPA is preferred.
- Have 1 to 3 years of experience in Accounting/Finance, with strong analytical skills.
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish.
- Are proficient in Microsoft Excel and have knowledge of SAP.
- Demonstrate the ability to handle multiple priorities and work under pressure.
- Are detail-oriented, organized, and capable of adapting to changing business needs.
