Description

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Sr. Material Coordinator to join our team. Under limited supervision, the Sr. Material Coordinator will serve as a technical expert in one or more core distribution functions, such as receiving, storing, dispensing, transferring, or shipping materials in accordance with standard operating procedures or guidelines. Must be available for 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift, starting with a pay rate of $20.87

Responsibilities:
- Perform various material handling functions, including receiving, storing, dispensing, delivering, transferring, reconciling, cycle counting, or shipping materials in compliance with cGMP procedures and regulations.
- Utilize inventory systems to resolve basic system issues and maintain accurate records within ERP system.
- Operate Power Industrial Vehicles (PIV) to move warehouse materials.
- Operate trucks (flat bed or panel) to transport warehouse materials, hazardous materials, or general receiving goods following Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Handle hazardous materials per Federal guidelines.
- Adhere to OSHA, DOT, policies and regulations.
- Identify operational issues and propose process improvement opportunities to leadership.
- Participate in group or department-specific projects.
- Maintain compliant training records.
- Ensure a clean and safe work environment.
- Prepare for regulatory inspections and audits.
- Train staff in basic cGMP functions and other relevant areas.
- Monitor work processes to ensure compliance with metrics.
- Review department's standard operating procedures, training materials, and validation documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Serve as a point of contact for internal and external customers on operational matters.
- Consolidate and report department performance metrics.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to other staff members.

Education/Licenses:
- High school diploma or GED with 2 years of directly related work experience and/or military experience, or
- Associate's degree with 6 months of directly related work experience and/or military experience.

Physical Demands:
- Standing, walking, or moving around offices, work sites, or buildings.

- Visual/mental concentration on specialized equipment and instruments.
- Exposure to temperature extremes, wetness, fumes, vibrations, dust, noise, odors, etc., which may require the use of protective equipment and strict work guidelines.
