Spanish Bilingual Forklift Operators
Logistics company in the 77032 Zip Code - Near George Bush Airport
• Schedule: Monday-Friday: 7am-4:30pm , potential OT
• Pay rate: $17-20/hr DOE, temp to hire
• MUST have Sit-down and Stand-up forklift experience
What will you be doing?
• Coordinating and completing shipments of goods between company and clients.
• Collaborating with off-site logistics locations, suppliers, and vendors to meet deadlines and track shipments.
• Processing orders and ensuring shipment schedules are met.
• Developing and maintaining operational reports.
• Acting as a point of contact for customer service.
• Ensuring the completion, accuracy, and delivery of transactions for clients.
• Dispatching requests to transportation providers.
• Performing daily activities for an assigned shift or area.
• Adhering to specific warehouse work instructions for receiving, labeling, storing, shipping, and value-add services.
• Meeting company objectives in performance, safety, quality, leadership, and customer service.
• Unloading inbound shipments safely and moving products to the correct destination.
• Efficiently staging, stacking, and loading merchandise.
• Moving product from staging and unloading areas into the correct load door and assigned trailer.
• Securing and chocking the trailer prior to entering.
• Loading/unloading product correctly using appropriate handling techniques.
• Segregating, checking, and staging inbound product correctly.
• Verifying driver, trailer, and bills for specific carrier and location.
• Counting freight with the driver and ensuring all requirements are followed.
• Loading the trailer for safe transit and ensuring the driver signs all required paperwork.
• Performing all forklift activities as required.
• Performing labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, and repacking as needed.
What is required?
• Have forklift experience, Stand-up and Sit down
• Possess basic mathematical skills for inventory verification and order accuracy.
• Are detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Have effective interpersonal and communication skills.
• Have knowledge of warehouse management systems.
