Pay: $28-32/hr based on experience
Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm
Hybrid Schedule-work from home 85% of the time

Must be able to commute to Marysville, OH 15% of the time

What will you be doing as a Sourcing Specialist-Talent Acquisition?

The Sourcing Specialist in Talent Aquisition is responsible for supporting recruiters in identifying, attracting, and engaging top talent for various roles within the organization. This role involves utilizing multiple sourcing channels, including LinkedIn and other professional networks, to help fill niche positions, build a diverse and inclusive candidate pipeline, and contribute to the organization's talent strategy. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for talent, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with recruiters and hiring managers while sharing best practices across the recruiting team.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Sourcing Talent:
  • Proactively source candidates through various channels, including LinkedIn, job boards, social media, networking events, and industry-specific platforms, with a focus on creating a diverse and inclusive talent pipeline.
  • Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of potential candidates for current and future hiring needs
  • Identify and engage with passive candidates, effectively presenting the company's value proposition, including its commitment to diversity and inclusion.
    Supporting Recruiters:
  • Collaborate closely with recruiters to understand hiring needs and develop effective sourcing strategies.
  • Assist recruiters in identifying suitable candidates for phone screens and initial interviews, ensuring diverse representation in the candidate pool.
  • Schedule and conduct phone screens to assess candidate qualifications, cultural fit, and interest in the role.
  • Provide recruiters with detailed candidate summaries and recommendations based on screening outcomes.

Candidate Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain relationships with potential candidates to ensure a positive experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Maintain regular communication with candidates to keep them engaged and informed about the status of their applications.
    Market Research:
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor hiring practices, and emerging sourcing tools and technologies.
  • Provide insights to the recruitment team on sourcing challenges, market conditions, and opportunities to enhance diversity in hiring efforts.
Data Management and Reporting:

 
  • Track and manage candidate information in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Generate reports on sourcing activities, candidate pipelines, diversity metrics, and other key metrics to support data-driven recruitment decisions.
     
Knowledge Sharing and Training:

 
  • Leverage your expertise in sourcing to develop and share best practices with the broader recruiting team.
  • Conduct training sessions or knowledge-sharing initiatives to enhance the team's understanding of sourcing strategies, including those that foster diversity in the talent pipeline.


Qualifications:
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience with no degree.
  • High technical acumen and social media savvy.
  • Ability to leverage data and market insights to educate hiring managers, fluent in talent market data.
  • Strong knowledge of LinkedIn and other professional networking platforms.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build rapport with candidates.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
    Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment software.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Advanced X-ray searching – writing Boolean codes.
  • Experience sourcing for niche or specialized roles.
  • Understanding of employment laws and regulations as they relate to recruitment and hiring.
  • Previous experience in phone screening or conducting initial candidate interviews.
  • Experience in developing and implementing sourcing strategies that enhance diversity in candidate pools.
