Software Engineer

Overview
Our client designs and manufactures testing, repair, & calibration systems for the automotive industry. They are privately owned medium sized organization with a family-oriented culture. This is mid-level role is open as part of the expansion of their software engineering team.
In this role, you'll utilize your 5+ years' experience in C++ & C# programming to design, develop, test, and integrate source code for product desktop applications in a microservice architecture environment
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop desktop applications, microservices, and RESTful APIs.
- Identify core functionalities of equipment and services.
- Utilize programming languages such as C# and C++
- Work with cloud technologies and platforms such as Azure
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Electrical/Computer Engineering required.
- 5+ years' experience software development/programming & testing with C++ is a hard requirement and any C# experience a plus
- Competency/working knowledge on industry standard design and testing best practices
- Experience with .NET, Docker, Azure, and IoT technologies
- Working knowledge or understanding of distributed systems (preferably microservices architecture) required.
- Working knowledge of hardware functionality in relation to how the software interfaces is required.
