Position Details:
Work Arrangement: 100% onsite initially, transitioning to 4 days onsite/1 day remote weekly after the training period.
Position Description:
As a SCW Analyst for John Deere A&CS Part Services in Milan, IL, you will collaborate with customers and teammates, supporting John Deere's Smart Connected Warehouse (SCW) initiative. Help drive transformational change to Warehouse Management solutions and processes using new, advanced system capabilities.
Production Support: Provide production support for facilities with modern solutions, including deploying new capabilities.
Training & Documentation: Create training documentation for warehouse office and floor staff, perform end-user training, and support implementations directly.
What You'll Be Doing:
Documenting and Improving Processes: You'll dive deep into the "as is" and "to be" processes, documenting changes and helping us transition smoothly.
Communicating and Engaging Stakeholders: Execute communication plans and build fantastic working relationships with stakeholders, addressing their needs and concerns.
Managing Risks and Issues: You'll help identify and evaluate risks, dependencies, and constraints, and design solutions to mitigate them.
Conducting Feasibility Studies: From technology to organization, you'll be our go-to for assessing feasibility and documenting your findings.
Creating Reports: Collect data from standard sources and turn it into accurate, insightful reports.
Coordinating Teams: Assign short-term work schedules to keep our team on track and meet our goals.
Reviewing and Improving Operations: Constantly seek out new ideas and ways to improve existing processes.
Preparing Documents: Use various apps to create complex documents and gather data for special reports.
Developing Yourself: Dive into development planning, training, and coaching. Stay up to date on industry best practices and relevant technology.
Required Skills/Experiences:
1+ years of experience working within an operations and/or Engineering function.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Desired Skills/Experiences:
Data background (beneficial).
Experience with SAP, SQL, Python.
2+ years of experience in a warehouse or other operations.
2+ years of experience in an engineering role supporting operations.
Experience in training personnel on processes and best practices.
Experience supporting operations in using technical tools or IT systems.
Educational Requirements:
Degree in Engineering/Technology discipline or equivalent experience. (4 years or equivalent)
Degree in Business/Management discipline or equivalent experience. (4 years or equivalent)
