Pay rate: $60-70/hour
Overview
The Site Microbiologist oversees Microbiology testing, ensuring timely delivery of quality results and providing strong technical leadership. Key responsibilities include managing EMPQs and Contamination Control Strategies, supporting Aseptic Process Simulations, and overseeing the production of injectable drug products.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards through reviewing policies and data.
- Develop and track Key Performance Indicators for efficiency and quality.
- Oversee EMPQs, contamination control, and sterility assurance programs.
- Support process improvements to align with client expectations.
- Approve and review laboratory data and reports.
- Communicate critical information to management.
- Evaluate automation for testing processes and oversee new instrument implementation.
- Maintain adherence to cGMP, FDA, and EU regulations.
- Uphold data integrity and quality risk management.
- Implement continuous improvement strategies as needed.
- Bachelor's in microbiology; advanced degree preferred.
- 8 years in Quality Control for pharmaceuticals or biologics.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with LIMS, ERP, and QMS.
- Foster an organizational culture of sincerity and teamwork.
- Adapt to changes while maintaining professionalism.
- Prioritize tasks and use critical thinking to analyze information.
- Provide effective training and identify process improvements.
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
