Shop Service Technician
Location: Greeneville, NC 
Pay: $25-38 per hour based on experience
Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision plans on the day of hire


Kelly Services is partnering with a leading construction equipment dealer to find experienced Field Service Technicians. Heavy machinery experience is required, with a preference for Volvo equipment.


Responsibilities:
  • Repair and service machinery to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain and operate assigned service truck and tools safely.
  • Stay current with safety training and service department goals.
  • Complete work with minimal rework and without direct supervision.
  • Order parts and maintain necessary records.
  • Follow all safety requirements and leave work areas clean.
  • Comply with DOT regulations, including medical requirements.
  • Participate in training and respond positively to additional duties.

Requirements:
  • Trade school completion in a relevant field.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude.
  • Knowledge of OSHA, MSHA, and machinery safety regulations.
  • Mechanical aptitude, especially in hydraulics, electronics, and diesel engines.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in various outdoor environments.
  • Must have own tools and valid driver's license to operate a field service truck.
