Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Prepare shipping documents, including bills of lading, shipping labels, and customs documentation.
  • Coordinate with carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries, ensuring on-time shipments.
  • Inspect packages for damage or discrepancies, and resolve any issues with suppliers or customers.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and update shipment status in the system.
  • Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
  • Communicate with customers regarding shipment status, tracking information, and delivery updates.
Education / Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a Shipping Clerk or in a similar role.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to accurately complete paperwork and maintain records.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in using shipping software and MS Office applications.
  • Knowledge of shipping regulations and customs documentation.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
