Temp to Hire Role- Shipping Clerk in Stuyvesant Falls, NY

We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Shipping Clerk to join our team immediately. The ideal candidate will have experience with shipping orders, particularly with FedEx and UPS, as well as forklift experience. This position is crucial to our operations, ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of products to our customers. 

Job Title: Shipping Clerk 

Location:Stuyvesant Falls, NY

Hourly Rate: $24 per hour 

Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM or 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Process and prepare shipments for delivery via FedEx, UPS, and other carriers. 

• Ensure accurate labeling, packaging, and documentation for shipments. 

• Operate forklifts for moving and organizing inventory. 

• Maintain shipping records and track orders to ensure timely delivery. 

• Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate shipments and resolve issues. 

• Follow all shipping regulations and safety protocols. 

• Perform other related duties as assigned. 

Qualifications: 

• Proven experience in shipping, logistics, or a related field. 

• Familiarity with shipping methods and systems (FedEx, UPS). 

• Forklift certification or relevant experience required. 

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills. 

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in shipping procedures. 

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 

• Good communication skills, both verbal and written. 

• Must be reliable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic.
