Direct hire opportunity in Maryland Heights, MO for a Service Engineer.

A Global Industrial Manufacturer in Maryland Heights, MO is seeking a Full Time Service Engineer / Technician to join their team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in diagnosing and troubleshooting industrial parts washer machinery to provide exceptional support and solutions to our customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues in parts washer machinery.
  • Provide quotes for replacement parts and instructions of their installation to customers.
  • Provide chemical requirements for different cleaning applications.
  • Provide guidance to customer inquiries regarding installation, start-up, and operation of
  • Parts Washers.
  • Stay updated on parts washing techniques and Parts Washer products.
  • Maintain detailed computer records of customer interactions.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing calls to assist customers throughout the day.
  • Onsite visits to perform equipment review, commissioning and training as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Curiosity and eagerness to learn new skills; must demonstrate initiative.
  • Mechanical aptitude and experience with basic hand tools.
  • Proficiency in computer use, with the ability to enter notes into a CRM system (Gold Mine) and quotes in order entry system (Sage 50).
  • Ability to touch type.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Experience in troubleshooting industrial machinery is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical ladder logic diagrams.
  • Open to traveling when needed.
  • Understanding of electro-mechanical systems used in industrial machinery, including motors, gearboxes, electrical controls, heating elements, gas burners, pumps, fluids, and cleaning chemicals.

EXPERIENCE
  • Engineering Technology Degree or Service Experience: 1-3 years (Preferred)
  • Management experience or training will be helpful future opportunities

SCHEDULE
Day shift (8 am – 5 pm)
Typically, 8 hours per day
Monday – Friday
Weekends and Overtime as needed
Overnight Travel up to 5 days occasionally as needed
