Kelly Engineering has an exciting direct hire Senior Mechanical Design Engineer role with an innovative company experiencing dynamic growth in the Scranton, PA area. This role offers a salary in the $80-$100K range based on experience along with low cost heath care and relocation assistance if needed and the opportunity to work with life changing impactful products.

Senior Mechanical Design Engineer Responsibilities:

• Design and analyze mechanical systems and assemblies
• Develop, release, and revise mechanical drawings and 3D models
• Ensure designs' safety, effectiveness, manufacturability, reliability, and at reduced cost
• Meet and fulfill project timelines and budgets
• Serve as technical project lead with outside design partners and suppliers
• Assist in the continuous improvement of design procedures and protocols to help drive design efficiency

Senior Mechanical Design Engineer Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in designing mechanical systems and assemblies
• Experience in 3D modeling of mechanical components and assemblies along with 2D detail drawings
• Experience in the application of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
• Experience with machined, welded, and fabricated parts a plus
