Temp to Hire- SR HR Generalist for a Biotech company

100% Onsite in Wilsonville, Oregon

Payrate: $82K-$100K- DOE

SCOPE: Reporting directly to the SVP of HR, this individual will support day to day HR partnership, including compliance and a focus on the employee experience. You should have a deep knowledge of the employee lifecycle and provide extraordinary service to our employees, who are our internal customers and continue to drive overall employee satisfaction.

 

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Provide guidance to management and employees on human resources issues,employment law, etc. to meet the needs of the employees.
  • Maintain knowledge of HR compliance requirements related to employees to ensure compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Oversee employment record keeping, posting and retention systems and fulfill compliance reporting and related obligations.
  • Monitor HR related policies and practices to ensure consistency with compliance requirements and recommended best practices that contribute to a workplace
  • promoting practices of diversity, inclusion, equity and belonging.
  • Perform advanced employee relations functions including support and counseling regarding employee and job-related conflicts, problem solving and dispute resolution,
  • managing employee performance issues, review, and assessment of termination requests; conduct exit interviews.
  • Conduct complex/sensitive employee related investigations. Coordinate the administration of all Leave of Absence programs and processes including transitional work and accommodations.
  • Support various ongoing and ad-hoc projects and initiatives (i.e. Employee Experience, annual review/performance cycle, development programs, etc.).
  • All other duties as requested.

What You'll Bring to the Team:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources Management or related field
  • 7+ years of demonstrated experience as a Generalist/Sr HR Generalist
  • Expert level knowledge and practical experience with Federal and California or Oregon wage and hour
  • Must be comfortable and able to produce results while navigating ambiguity.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask easily without compromising attention to detail.
  • Applies sound judgment and ensures integrity, compliance and confidentiality while handling highly sensitive information
  • Experience with HR Information systems
  • Proficient with other data management tools such as Excel or Google sheets
