Job Posting: Senior Estimator – EPC and Oil & Gas Industry

Location: Southeast Texas

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Estimator with extensive experience in EPC and the oil and gas industry to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring accurate cost estimations and the successful execution of our projects. Your expertise in estimating, planning, and collaborating with stakeholders will drive project success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurately estimate the total cost of materials, equipment, and labor for EPC construction projects.
  • Analyze construction documents and project specifications.
  • Prepare estimates for project planning, organizing, and scheduling.
  • Manage pre-qualification and pre-bid submissions.
  • Set project goals, establish work hours, sequence tasks, and coordinate with Procurement to secure favorable deals.
  • Submit relevant documents and budgets before bid deadlines.
  • Report regularly to Management and update clients on project status.
  • Formulate contingency plans and manage project risks effectively.
  • Stay updated on the latest estimating technology and industry techniques.
  • Collaborate with other teams, conduct site visits, and assist with bid deliveries when needed.
Minimum Requirements:
  • 10-12 years of estimating experience in EPC (Heavily required).
  • Strong background in piping and mechanical estimating.
  • Expertise in planning, organizing schedules, and managing resources.
  • Proficient in negotiating budgets and timelines with clients and managers.
  • Exceptional time management, multitasking, and interpersonal skills.
  • Advanced computer skills and familiarity with industry software.
  • Ability to travel and perform site visits as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Extensive experience in EPC industrial construction.
  • Knowledge of best industry practices and standards.
  • Strong research, proposal writing, and oral presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage personnel and negotiate effectively.
