Join the Kelly® Professional & Industrial team as a Vehicle Operator (Driver) at our client's Vehicle Processing Center in Jacksonville, FL. Payrate: $16.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 am to 3:30 pm (must be flexible to arrive earlier or stay later, occasional Saturdays may be required)

This Seasonal Role is set to last until the end of January 2025

What's a typical day like as a Driver?

  • Your primary responsibility is to ensure the prompt delivery of undamaged vehicles to each location, making sure they are parked and prepared for pickup by car-haulers who will transport them to dealerships.
  • Regular tasks include vehicle scanning, vehicle inspection, fueling, removing protective plastic material, conducting computerized vehicle checks, and moving vehicles to and from accessory installation and pre-delivery/shipping processing departments.
  • Drivers may also receive training in Pre-Delivery Services functions and LED installations. 


This job might be a perfect fit if you:

  • Possess a valid driver's license in the state of Florida and have a clean motor vehicle record for the past three years.
  • Are at least 18 years old.
  • Hold a High School Diploma or GED.
  • Can work in various weather conditions (rain, extreme heat, cold, etc.).
  • Can lift/push/pull at least 35lbs at and above shoulder height throughout the day.
  • Are comfortable working on concrete and asphalt surfaces, standing and walking for the majority of work hours.
  • Have experience driving a 5-speed/manual transmission or any mechanical aptitude/production experience (Preferred).
